it_photo_175240_52Adobe has released Photoshop Touch for the iPad 2, following the Android launch last year.

The touch version of the photo editing software first arrived on Android tablets in November, alongside a suite of five other apps for designers.

The Android version won our Recommended award, with our review stating that it “completely redefines what we expect to be able to do on a tablet”.

The app isn’t a full version of Photoshop, but includes “core” features as well as new tools created for the touch interface. For example, the “scribble” selection tool allows a user to select part of an image by simply “scribbling” on the part to keep.
