Ubisoft hasn’t yet mentioned anything about multiplayer itself, however it finally released the first official Assassin’s Creed 3 trailer for the game yesterday, along with some details on the engine powering it. According to Ubi, AC3 is powered by Ubisoft-AnvilNext, “a revolutionary new game engine that delivers breakthroughs in visual quality, character models and artificial intelligence. Assassin’s Creed III will feature a ground-breaking level of stunning graphics that bring Colonial America to life.”

It later said the it’s aiming to make AC3 ‘look next-gen’ using AnvilNext engine. Whether it turns out that way is yet to be seen, although the cinematic trailer was undoubtedly cool, it didn’t feature any gameplay.

Last week we also got new details on AC3’s new half Native American character Connor, as well as some info on thousand-man battles, a brand new animation system, and impressive facial animations are promised. Have a look.
