Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 Logitech Presents To Mac

Logitech did not let the month go by without revealing a special device for Mac systems, having actually went farther than usual and integrating solar cells into the design, removing the need for battery changes and recharges altogether. Solar cells may not have been that impressive a few years ago, but they definitely have reached the point where they can serve consumers directly instead of just as part of immense sunlight capturing arrays.

Logitech‘s newest device is obvious proof of this, being a keyboard that doesn’t even need sunlight, making do with even the ambient light of any household room. The Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 for Mac, as it is called, has solar cells built into the outer frame.

Said cells didn’t interfere with the company’s plans to offer multiple color options and should be able to fill the battery with enough energy to last for up to three months in total darkness. “We hear from consumers all the time that they want to see more Mac products from us,” said Rory Dooley, Logitech senior vice president and general manager of the Control Devices business unit.

“I’m proud to say we’ve listened, and are excited to offer one of our most innovative keyboards designed specifically for Mac users.” The newcomer is a full-size model and boasts a concave key-cap design, for quiet, fast and comfortable typing.

A 2.4 GHz wireless connection is present, reliant on a Unifying receiver that can be left plugged in the Mac’s USB port permanently. Owners of Apple products should be able to start placing order for it soon, if listings haven’t already shown up. The price is of $59.99.

As for customers that are more interested in finding a new mouse for PCs, Logitech recently unveiled the Gaming Mouse G300, although this particular invention won’t start shipping until next month, Of Course September This Year.
